Car Geek

My cousin some how became a spitting image of his dad as he's grown up. He's wanting to go into engineering of some kind, is a total nerd, and is WAY into cars. They've made it a tradition to go to the annual car show here every Thanksgiving instead of having a dinner (which is fine by us since we don't care for them much). The only things that I've heard from him in recent years is car stuff...make and models, "exciting" new design, Ferrari parts or how to fix/upgrade such and such. I swear the kid doesn't talk about anything and when he does finally mutter something it's that.

I think it's great to have a hobby or something but really, don't you want some form of diversity so that you can be a part of everyday society? He's going to go to college next year, will he have friends? Will he ever get married? I know this sounds like I'm being over critical but man, you don't know this kid. LOL
