Laptop Regrets

When I bought my laptop last year I was really excited when I found one that came in my perfect color. I am an addict to the computer but in order to actually want to work on it, I needed some incentive. LOL So what's the regret? The quality of the minor things on my Sony. The one thing that is irritating the heck out of me is the color coming off of my keypad. I'm tellin you, my letters are disappearing! What kind of computer is this?! My "e" is turning into an "f", my "t" is about to just be a line, and there are nicks all over a bunch of other keys. Sooner or later they are just going to be plain white (if I don't stick stickers all over them). I wish the warrenty would cover this as a "functional" problem since I do stare at my keys while I type but of course it's not and I'm stuck.

I've already started eying the ads for laptop deals out of disgust for this thing. I'm sure I could find something good and it helps to read the reviews on buy.com and other sites. The prices are pretty reasonable right now so that's not a problem. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Vaio...it's fast, stores a lot, the keys themselves are fantastically easy to use, and as a whole it functions perfectly. It's just this stupid thing I have with the paint. I will almost bet that mine is a fluke too...my step-dad has no problems at all with his laptop. Go figure, ugh!

I Found the Best Acne Resource!

I've always thought my skin was pretty crappy and am always seeking out best acne treatment. I have all sorts of different types of acne going on on my face and it drives me nuts trying to treat them with the same thing. I've tried just about everything there is and none of them seem to make a huge difference. There was this one product that was out years ago that got rid of any kind of pimple really fast but the companies pulled it off. I was so upset I actually wrote one of them to no avail. lol

I found a really cool site though, that lists reviews for just about everything out there! I never knew this existed but I'm really glad I found it. They rate products and tell you which are the best ones...it's fantastic and SUCH a money saver! The worst is spending so much money and finding out right after the trial period that it doesn't work. I really can't tell you how much I'll be reading through this site. They cover everything from over the counter to prescription treatments. I HIGHLY recommend this site, go check it out!

Leno Bids Farewell...and I Missed It!

Ugh, I'm so bummed out that I missed watching Jay Leno's last night as the host of The Tonight Show. I remember the last night when Johnny Carson hosted. Boy, that was really a long time ago! My grandma liked him so much that she even had video taped that show. LOL I can't remember if we watched Jay's first show but I do think that it took a little while for her to get used to him...she doesn't do well with change. After some time, he became her new late night buddy and we watched religiously.

I'm glad that he will be having a new show and that of all people, they picked Conan O'Brien. He's hysterical and as goofy as he is, he's always held himself in a very professional manner and knows his limits. I always loved watching his shows with Martha Stewart as they make a very odd couple and he would have her eat all kinds of food that you wouldn't think she'd eat. I think the highlight for me was her drinking from a 40oz of Old English. Now that's some new kind of ghetto! LOL!

The Bride to Be

One of my friends is getting married this fall. I have mixed feelings about this because I don't really like him and she's gotten on my nerves too. LOL I must sound like I hate everyone. Anyway, I still haven't decided if I want to go and kinda pray that I don't have to go to any kind of showers. They can be fun and all but I never know what to get them besides great lingerie gifts. There's SO many pretty things and I end up leaning towards those because I look horrible in them and the person I buy them for usually is in better shape than me. (That's a while other story, lol) I was thinking that I might do something different this time but I'm not sure what yet but at least I know what my fall back is.

I wish I did more when I got married. We just did the legal stuff and that was it. Our 15 year anniversary is coming up this year so maybe we'll do something different, who knows. I'm not sure how many people we still know anyway. LOL
