Movie Night
We actually sat down to watch a movie the other night which we haven't done in forever since DD can't sit in one room for more than a minute. It was really nice to watch something that we could all enjoy that wasn't a cartoon. Honestly, I wasn't TOO excited that the movie we ended up watching was RV but hey, you can't complain too much right? LOL I LOVE when the RV rolls into the lake and Robin Williams is trying to pull the thing out like he's about to gain Superman's super strength or something. All you can do is sit there and watch thinking "Man, if that were real you would want some REALLY good rv insurance!" Since school is coming up in a few days I think it would be nice if we could have a regular family day but our schedules get so crazy that it can be really tough. Hopefully we can work something out.
Sanrio Stuff
I LOVE Hello Kitty and have been totally stuck on buying Sanrio stuff since I was small. This is what started my obsession with stationary products. LOL I don't know what it is about pens, paper, and erasers but I could buy tons of it if I had the money. The last couple of years my favorite character has been Kuromi. I don't know what the story is that they made up for her but she seems to be My Melody's alter ego or something. What ever it is, I'm sure she's drawn in a lot of teenagers for Sanrio since she's the "dark" one. Cute and cuddly but most definitely devilish...kind of like my daughter. LOL! The scary part is that they actually resemble one another too!
Who's Your Daddy?
When I was a teen some of the girls that I knew had babies and it was totally amazing to me that a couple of them didn't know who the dad was. Okay, it still amazes me. I really just can't understand why people have to sleep around, it's pretty gross in my mind but that comes from some one that's had one and only person in 15 years. Not to mention that I think it's disgusting and morally degrading but that's another story. So anyway, battles ensued and DNA testing followed and of course it was the guy that the girl didn't want to be the father. It's almost like some kind of payback for messing around in the first place and all you can do is hope that they don't mess up their kids.
E-commerce
I've always wanted to start my own business and haven't ever been able to decide what to do. Now that I kind of know, I have no capital so the idea just sits. The last thing that I wanted to do was sell some kind of product online. I tried Ebay for a while but that ends up being a sort of yard sale experience and I really have a hard time seeing how people make money at it especially when they offer free shipping. How can you sell an item for like $1 and ship it free?! I just don't get that. I would have loved to be big enough one day that I would need a ecommerce fulfillment service to take care of all that work for me. Oh well, maybe one of these days I'll figure something out.
Addict
I come from a long line of addicts so it's no surprise at all that once I sit down to play a game, I seem to never get up. Even now I'm trying not to switch over to click happily away. LOL I can get lost in it for days and that's no exaggeration. I had signed up for Facebook thinking that I would connect with some old friends that I haven't seen since school or working a job but man, all I end up doing is playing some kind of game and I never get off. It's so bad. I guess it COULD be worse, at least some of them are good brain games. LOL!!!

Having a Healthy Attitude...
doesn't always cut it. I've been having some of the worst luck with the state program that I'm on and it has gotten to be ridiculously frustrating. I'm not getting the communications properly and I was never notified until now that I was kicked off at the end of 2007! Good thing nothing major has gone wrong with me...yet. *knocks on wood* So, I have to go through the whole process again and I didn't even receive the papers to reapply. I'm looking into getting some cheap insurance just so I don't have to deal with these people anymore but then there will just be another lot to deal with. Ugh, it's just my luck...

Stress!
My anxiety has gone WAY up over the last few weeks. It's so bad that I don't even notice how tense and stressed I am until my body starts to hurt. This last week it was a major breakout and my face has never been in so much pain. I've been on the lookout for best acne treatment for a while now and boy could I have used it this week. Everything became painful and I haven't wanted to leave the house for anything. Yeah, I can see someone yelling "FIRE!" and I parish because of bad skin. LOL!!!! Well, not quite but really close.
Redecorating
Why does it seem that every time I got to clean I end up having to rearrange the whole room?! I just can't seem to find a flow to this room at all and added to that DD's constant changing and it's a recipe for disaster. The norm has become me starting to clean and instantly realizing how incredibly ugly things are and wanting to paint at the very least.
The hardest part is the rest of the house since my mother is stuck in a decorating freeze and can't see that things can function AND look nice. She just keeps us paralyzed in the state we are by saying that she doesn't want this or that but nothing functions at all. Then she'll get all mad when stuff is all over and things are overflowing. Go figure. How do you deal with someone like that?!

Walk Away the #s
My friend just got a new treadmill and I'm super jealous. I'm kinda dumb and when I bought mine, I thought it might be better (for some reason) to get a manual one. What was I thinking?! It's such a pain to just walk and stay on there for any length of time. I really should have gotten an automatic one.
I'm really happy that she's taking steps to get healthier though. She's one of those lazy slackers that sits around and does virtually nothing all day. She puts herself so low on the priority list that even the best diet pill can't help her because she'll end up not taking it. LOL! Now I think that requires talent or skill if she can't even get up to take a pill.

School Time Again
Boy, the summer sure never seems to last long does it? With stores marketing season changes before they actually get here it seems like we are never in the right state of mind. I would say that it's already been almost a month of back to school advertisements. Like any of us really want to shop while away on vacation. LOL!
Although our economy has been in such a bad state, it has worked in the consumer's favor, if you actually have any money right now. It's hard for someone like me who loves a great bargain but can't even afford the bargains half the time. On an upside, DS REALLY is in need of new clothes and out of all of them, I'd say shoes are usually the most expensive thing because he's a men's size and we all know that cheap men's stuff is hard to find. He always is in need of running shoes for PE class because the goof ends up wearing them as regular shoes and totals them in no time. Ah, boys. LOL! We were able to get some Nike shoes really cheap this time and he absolutely loves them, so now all we need are at least two pairs of everyday shoes.
I know he can't wait to get back to see all his friends even though some have moved since he won't have to be home with his cranky sister all day. Hopefully things will quiet down in that area but for now we'll just enjoy the last couple weeks. ^-^
