Shimmers and Sparkles

I've always been a big fan of anything that shines and it's no exception when it comes to jewelry. I've always wanted a pair of diamond stud earrings but I'm not sure if I will ever be able to afford the ones I've been wanting. I think the day that I walk in to buy those would be the telling day of how far I've come in my life for sure. LOL! One of my friends had a pair when we were kids and it was kind of awkward knowing that her family had the money to spoil her in that way. Of course it gave me something to dream about also. LOL My mom has a few diamond pieces that she's inherited from various family members and eventually they will be passed onto me too. I think I would be happier in a situation like that knowing that there is a history of people living happy experiences wearing the pieces than buying a new set of my own...but at the same time it wouldn't hurt too much I don't think. *wink, wink*
