Thomas and Friends

When I was raising DS, he went through the typical toddler stage almost all boys do with trains. It was nothing but Thomas the Train day and night. He had to have all the T-shirts we could find so that he was never not wearing one and he always had a train in hand.

When I found out I was having a girl this time around I was excited to have different types of toys around. Well, as it turns out she's into just about everything he ever was. She's already had her period of watching The Princess Bride, which he didn't watch until later and now we're onto Thomas. She loves playing with the train sets although she may be pretending in a slightly different fashion than he did. I just find it interesting how much of a "non-typical" girl she turned out to be.
