Favorite Shoes

DD is such a girly-girl. She loves all of her clothes, especially her accessories. She already has a bunch of hats, purses and even gloves along with her shoes. Her shoes is her favorite thing though. It can be hotter than anything and she'll insist on wearing her boots with her skirts. It makes you hot just looking at her. LOL I love that she likes to wear boots because our yard isn't the safest thing out there so I know I don't have to worry about her hurting her feet. She is such the fashionista though. LOL

Healthy Start

I always wonder when I see commercials or informational things about taking prenatal vitamins if there really are people out there who don't take them. It's such a standard practice to go to the doctor once you find out and start taking your duet dha or whatever you are given that I can't imagine people not taking them. It's really a benefit for your baby to do it, especially if you aren't getting in all the vitamins you need for yourself. I took them with both of my kids but I have come across one or two moms who didn't. I didn't push on the details but I thought it was kind of odd.

The Outdoor Room

It's interesting to watch all the home shows where they do or show backyards. They've come such a long way! Now you don't just see a pool or some grass, the whole thing is an actual extension of the house and you can find almost everything you would inside out there. Now there's whole sets of furniture, games, outdoor fireplaces and a host of other things amongst the perfectly designed yards. Of course I can't help but get a little jealous since our yard isn't even that. It's such a disaster area that we'd love to dig the whole thing up and start all over again.

ER Trip

WE had to take DD to the ER today. That was some experience I swear...

She put a good little hole in her head and I couldn't tell how deep it was and wasn't sure so we decided to take her in. Even there she decided to try to get into trouble. Of course she got first class treatment and ended up with stickers, a stuffed animal and juice at the end. Talk about an adventure. I'm really hoping that she didn't find it too fun to go there or we'll be visiting quite often.

Home Shows

We love this time of year because of all the shows that come to the fairgrounds. It's fun seeing all the different vendors, not to mention getting any freebies they have. By the time we leave we'll have a bag of goodies ranging from candy to promo keychains and tons of pamphlets and brochures. DD had a blast at the last one because there was a lady selling scone mixes who was baking samples to offer. I think she must have had a whole tray of them by the time we picked out ours and left. LOL
