Laugh Out Loud Commercials

It's funny to me how commercials have come back in a surprising way. All the commercials that I love to see (most anyway) are for auto insurance coverage! It must be a highly competitive market right now. It's definitely to our benefit though. There's such cute, funny and creative ideas being put into those commercials right now. It kind of makes me want to look into insurance and I don't even own a car! LOL! I think we've come a long way from "where's the beef"...that was a great commercial too!

It's on the List

Seeing all the Halloween things in stores already only reminds me how fast Christmas is coming up. I'm thinking that DS will get a netbook this year but I still need to read more netbook reviews before I consider purchasing one. One thing I'm concerned about is the battery life of them. The last time I looked into netbooks the battery time was kind of short but then again, it's been a while since I've last looked. I know he was looking at a Sony netbook but there are a lot of other brands out there now to look into. I know he'll be really happy to have a computer of some kind of his own and with his usage I think this might be better than spending so much on a laptop he would barely get use out of.

The Dog Ate It

My friend's parents have this dog that chews on just about everything. I think it's kind of funny (obviously because it's not my dog) when he hits random objects. This goes far beyond slippers and homework sine the last thing was their spa cover! It was amazing how much damage he actually did to it, I should have taken a picture. LOL For her dad this was something he was looking forward to anyway, shopping for spa covers. He really didn't like the one they had to begin with. After that I'm not sure how they kept the dog off of it but they had a shiny new cover! LOL
