The Land of Oz

Right now I'm on a trip visiting my boyfriend who lives in Kansas. It's been a really great experience and everything has gone incredibly well. I only have a few more days left before I leave, which will be bittersweet. I miss home and my kids but at the same time I wish he could just come home with me. The whole long distance thing has already taken such a toll on us and although we know we'll be together someday, that day can't come soon enough. The good part is that he'll be coming out to see me in July but even that's going to feel like eternity from when I leave here. I really hope that we can figure things out and work out something that will be okay for both of us. For now, what we have will just have to do, one step at a time.
