Army Life

This is definitely a new phase of life for us. Having lived in Georgia our whole lives, my Army husband, our two kids, and THREE (yes, I’m crazy) dogs are headed to Ft. Hood Texas for the next two years. As terrified as I was at first, we could not be more excited! Such is the life of an Army wife, so I better get used to it. We have been so blessed with the support of family and friends and cannot wait for you guys to come visit! Patrick has already started planning, of course, which makes me feel much better about the things I’m scared about. We already have a security system (ya know, since Baker isn’t such a guard dog), he went to SHOPelectricityRatesTexas.com to look up the best rates in the area for power, and we’ve found a few churches we want to try out. So, now all that is left to do is pack it all up and head west! I’m getting sentimental looking through old photographs and trinkets – making the packing process a bit annoying for Pat. The solution? I’ll just watch!
