Protect it

DD is a master mess maker and we're still learning how to deal with her chaos. Some times she baffles me with how dirty she can get the most obscure places. It's a good thing we decided to invest in some chair slipcovers before she came along or we would really find out how difficult it would be to clean things. WE had actually gotten then because we had gotten the cats but they doubled as baby-proofing when DD came along. Considering most of this family is made up of men it helps there too. Good thing the few women are smart ones. LOL

No More WiFi

My laptop is finally losing its life. I'm sad because I really loved this one but being my first I know that there is probably something better out there for me. Today my wireless switch decided to die and never come back on. Of course it's untimely decision is when I don't have the money to replace it yet. I could plug it into the router but that itself is in a less than idea spot. I'm hoping that by next week I'll be up and running again but who knows what will happen. Until then I'll have to share the mis-matched dinosaur that everyone else uses too. Talk about fun. I really hope I can get a new one soon!

Wet

I'm so excited...I think we may finally get a new sink! My parents have been looking at stainless steel sinks for a while now and I think they've finally picked one they like. I'm really glad because our kitchen has really been needing a new one for a very long time. The one we have is split but the shallow side is too shallow and with the split not much will fit without it rising up and getting in the way. Every time we do dishes it looks like we've tried to take a shower with the faucet, not cute to say the least. LOL It almost would make you want one of those rubber aprons that dishwashers wear in restaurants. YAY for a new sink!
