Blocking Theft

Technology has come such a long way, but it's also helped thieves to help steal easier too. I'm thinking of getting one of those rfid blocking wallets so people can't walk by and steal my information from my cards and where ever else those chips are placed into. I'm not really sure why it's not as highly discussed as a way people can steal from you but it really should be something everyone is aware of.

Fighting the Fat

My weight has been going up and down for such a long time now that I'm not sure what to do with all of the clothes I've collected. Sometimes I think it would be a good idea to save them but at the same time, I really don't want to keep all of the larger sizes in hopes that I never have to wear them again. If I could find some diet pills that work I wouldn't really have to worry about it anymore considering I would be able to get back down to where I was a long time ago. Man, I miss wearing those clothes! LOL

Working Away

I feel like all I've been doing is working nonstop and it's really beginning to become tiring. I'm so burnt out all the time and I feel like I'm getting no where fast. All the money I make is designated to things before I even make it, that drives me nuts. I wish I had some sort of reserves saved up so I didn't have to just sit and watch the money come and go so quickly. Sigh. Oh well, at least I know that it's going to something positive and not to things that don't really matter.

Upgrade

I've finally joined the rest of the population and have started using my phone for things other than placing a simple phone call. I was hesitant for a long time because of the cost of doing such things, knowing that I would be paying for more than one person, but in the end I decided to just add the package to my phone only. Now my problem is that I don't have a phone that is actually compatible with what I'd like to do. I was thinking of upgrading my phone but I'm torn between the htc sense and a couple others. Since I'm moving I may end up waiting until I switch to a new family plan given that I will probably be using a different carrier too, we shall see.

Mom and Pops

When I was young one of my favorite things was to go to the shoe store. Back then they had all sorts of fun things to do there because it was geared for children. It's funny to think about because now many of them have gone away and it's harder and harder to find the things that once were. There are a few sneaker stores near by but not nearly like how they once were. Hopefully things will start to return and won't necessarily be considered "specialty" shops as they are now.

Medical Friends

I have a few friends in the medical field and it's pretty interesting for me when we all end up together. They end up talking about all these medical terms and things like welch allyn and I end up completely lost. It's fun none the less though and I end up learning a few things here and there about what they do and such. Sometimes I think that's a field I should have gone into but I wasn't sure if it was for me and even now I really couldn't say.

Home Away

It's interesting to see where people you grew up with wind up later in life. A lot of the people I knew have stayed in the same place while others moved all over the world. Quite a few of them ended up in New York. I've always wanted to go there to see all the steel buildings and of course, the Statue of Liberty but haven't yet gotten around to it. One day I hope to get to all the places that are on my list of things to see, but I think that will take most of my life. LOL
